DC has been working with a local parish in order to reach out to people in the community! The parish, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, has opportunities for prayer on zoom, house blessings, and more. Doing outreaches such as this is how A Simple House is able to meet different individuals and families. It is apart of our mission to not only serve the homeless but anyone has a need.

Once a month A Simple House community members has a book club. This is a way that we challenge ourselves to continually develop intellectually in order to better serve all those we encounter. The book club allows for open conversations about all sorts of topics such as charity, family life, evangelization and more.
Christmas was a whirlwind of fun! Gift giving, cookie baking, community fun, and even an attempt at a live nativity scene. It was great to be able to visit different families and homeless friends of the ministry.
